About the funds data

Funds data includes active and closed projects supported through funds that have been publicly announced as receiving funding. We will update this data around every quarter (variable by funding round).

Using the map

It is a useful resource if you are looking to apply for waste minimisation funding or interested in government investment in waste minimisation.

By clicking on dots on the interactive map you can access details of projects in your region or other regions of interest. 

Projects can be viewed by:

  • project name and description
  • recipient organisation
  • project type (ie, community, education and awareness, services, feasibility or investigative, infrastructure, innovation, data collection and analysis, site remediation)
  • project impact scale (region, multi-region or national)
  • project status (active, closed)
  • fund
  • funding amount awarded and year
  • website link for further information.

You can also filter for information such as 'all infrastructure projects' and download the information.
