Carbon calculator added to the Climate action toolbox
A new tool launched as part of Sustainable Business Network's (SBN) Climate Action Toolbox will help small businesses measure their carbon footprint and take action on climate.
Tui Rutherford, Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment Head of Small Business Services says, “This latest addition to the toolbox gives businesses the data they need to make changes. Now with the built-in calculator, small businesses have everything they need at their fingertips to measure emissions and create an action plan to reduce their carbon footprint”.
The calculator is based on our emissions factors.
The Toolbox has been developed in a collaboration between:
- Sustainable Business Network (SBN)
- Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment
- BNZ
- EECA
- New Zealand Trade & Enterprise
- Meridian
- Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency
- DNA.
