The State of New Zealand's Environment 1997 was published as a joint venture between the Ministry for the Environment and GP Publications. It reports on New Zealand's natural environment, what we have done to it, and what we are doing to it.
New Zealand's second state of the environment report, Environment New Zealand 2007, was published in December 2007.
