As part of making a national policy statement, section 52(3)(c.) of the RMA requires the Minister for the Environment, as soon as practicable after a National Policy Statement has been approved, to provide every person who made a submission with a summary of the recommendations made by the independent advisory panel, and a summary of the Minister’s decisions on those recommendations (including the reasons for not adopting any recommendations).
