As part of making a national policy statement, section 52(3)(c) of the Resource Management Act requires the Minister for the Environment, as soon as practicable after a National Policy Statement has been approved, to provide every person who made a submission with a summary of the recommendations, and a summary of the Minister’s decisions on those recommendations (including the reasons for not adopting any recommendations).
This report fulfils the requirements of section 52.
