Reforming industrial allocation in the New Zealand Emissions Trading Scheme: Consultation document

The Government is reviewing industrial allocation (also known as free allocation) in the New Zealand Emissions Trading Scheme.

This consultation document seeks feedback on options that will inform proposed regulatory changes to industrial allocation through an amendment to the Climate Change Response Act 2002.

This consultation closed on 17 September 2021.
