The proposed NPS on Indigenous Biodiversity sets out the Government's expectations for managing New Zealand's indigenous biodiversity under the Resource Management Act 1991.
The section 32 report evaluates the proposed NPS, as required under section 32 of the Resource Management Act 1991. A section 32 evaluation considers the appropriateness, alternatives, costs and benefits of a proposed national policy statement, and its objectives and policies.
