This case study provides an insight into how developers and councils undertook the design and consent process for a medium-density housing development in Christchurch, and how the occupants perceive the development. Three case studies were undertaken, one each in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington. Together the case studies provide examples of building typologies from different urban centres.
