The Jobs for Nature programme is being externally reviewed to assess the outcomes of the programme for people and for the environment.
This is the first report looking at how the programme is going on the ground in three areas including how the projects and agencies work together. The final assessment will be reported in 2025 when most of the projects have completed their work.
Case studies
The review included a set of case studies of Jobs for Nature working on the ground. These cover Auckland, the Manawatū-Whanganui Region and Nelson-Tasman. The evaluators summarise what they heard, who they saw, what is going well and what some of the challenges are.
