In 2014, the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment contracted Jacobs SKM to undertake an assessment of the environmental effects associated with selected telecommunications infrastructure and their construction/installation. This report presents the findings of that assessment and outlines the application of the Resource Management Act 1991 to the rollout of telecommunications infrastructure; in particular telecommunications cables and mobile network antennas.
