Ecological risk assessment of debris from space vehicle launches on the marine environment

The Ministry for the Environment commissioned Earth Sciences New Zealand (formerly NIWA) to undertake an ecological risk assessment on the effects of space vehicle jettison debris on the EEZ.

This report assesses the ecological impact of jettisoned material from space vehicles. The assessment uses updated information on the environment and real-life data from space vehicle launches in New Zealand.
