The New Zealand Government is proposing to replace the Resource Management Act 1991 (RMA).

An Expert Advisory Group (EAG) was established in September 2024 to prepare a blueprint to replace the RMA.

The EAG provided a package of 21 key recommendations in the form of a written report.
