The Ministry for the Environment’s Strategic Intentions for the years 2025-2029 has been released today.
The Ministry for the Environment has new Strategic Intentions to guide the next four years. This roadmap sets out how the ministry plans to deliver on its purpose of being Aotearoa New Zealand’s lead advisor on the environment and climate, enabling people and places to thrive, now and in the future.
The Ministry’s Strategic Intentions document, tabled in Parliament on February 12 by Environment Minister Penny Simmonds, outlines who we are and what we want to achieve for New Zealand through the work we do.
The document informs New Zealanders about the Ministry’s strategic objectives and five priorities over the next four years, setting out the impact we expect to have and the outcomes we will help deliver, and how we plan to measure success.
