Help shape future environment and climate science investment

The Government is developing a strategy to ensure Aotearoa New Zealand has the science and evidence it needs to achieve its environment and climate objectives.

Te Kete Āhuarangi me Te Taiao Environment and climate research strategy will support a strategic and coordinated approach to investing in research that delivers on Government objectives.

We’re seeking input to help prioritise research outcomes for the strategy.

We want to hear from people who produce or use environmental and climate research in:

  • iwi, hapū or Māori-led organisations
  • universities and research organisations
  • non-government organisations
  • private enterprise or industry organisations
  • local or central government agencies.

Taking part gives you the opportunity to influence the strategy development and provide valuable learnings to a programme of national reform. Titled Te Ara Paerangi Future Pathways, the programme of national reform is being led by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.

Take part in prioritising research outcomes
