Final report released on waste attitudes research

In 2023, we launched a three-year research project to better understand how people’s attitudes, awareness and behaviours around waste minimisation are changing over time.

Now in its final year, the third report focused on:

  • recycling and waste reduction behaviours
  • food waste habits
  • use and perceptions of plastics
  • the effectiveness of waste-reduction communications.

The findings offer valuable insights into how communities are engaging with waste issues and where further support or education may be needed.
