Options for Expediting RMA Consent Application processes for the operation of the Burwood Resource Recovery Park under the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Act 2011

This regulatory impact statement has been prepared by the Ministry for the Environment. It provides an analysis of four Order in Council options for a streamlined resource consent process for the temporary storage and processing demolition material at the Burwood Resource Recovery Park. The temporary storage and processing of demolition material is required to aid the recovery of greater Christchurch following the Canterbury Earthquake of 4 September 2010 and aftershock of 22 February 2011.
