This paper outlines the Government’s response to the Climate Change Commission's recommendations 6, 26, 27.  The proposals in this paper develop the foundations and relationships for the Government to meet specific requirements set out in the Climate Change Response Act 2002 regarding Te Tiriti o Waitangi (Te Tiriti).
