Waste Policy Options Cost Benefit Analysis Options for adjusting ETS obligations for remediation of sites that have had verified HAIL activities taking place on them

This report looks at options to reduce Emissions Trading Scheme costs for old waste removed during the cleanup of historic contaminated sites. The Ministry for the Environment commissioned the report to help us understand the costs and benefits of different options, and to support decisions on whether an exemption order is needed.
