This information sheet was updated in April 2017 to reflect changes to Environment Court processes made through the Resource Legislation Amendment Bill. Amendments to sections 267 and 268 of the Resource Management Act 1991 enables the Environment Court to require parties to proceedings to attend judicial conferences or alternative dispute resolution.
