This report was commissioned for Friends of Le Roy's Bush (LOLRB) by Environmental Impact Assessments Ltd under the Access to Experts initiative, a Ministry for the Environment-funded service delivered by Beca and NZ Landcare Trust.
FOLRB sought an ecological restoration plan for two slips located within Le Roys Bush Reserve/Wai Manawa. The report included a summary of the findings of a site walkover; reviewed literature suitable for the site’s unique environmental characteristics to enhance restoration success; determined which authorities, groups and/or professions should be notified and/or tasked to aid restoration and prevent further environmental damage from occurring; and outlined the necessary courses of action for the restoration of the site.
