The Hurunui District Landcare Group commissioned Brydon Hughes from Land Water People Ltd to review available water quality in their district. The report was commissioned under the Access to Experts initiative, a Ministry for the Environment-funded service delivered by Beca and NZ Landcare Trust.
The information in his review was compiled in a report for the HDLG to help them determine the appropriate land management actions to maintain and improve water quality in their catchments. The report summarises an analysis of publicly available monitoring information across the district, as well as plots of 5-year and 10-year trends.
