The draft regulations are released to provide stationary energy and industrial processes (SEIP) participants with notice of the content of their proposed obligations under the New Zealand Emissions Trading Scheme (NZ ETS) as provided for in the Climate Change Response Act 2002 (the Act), and to give the opportunity for interested people to consider the proposals and make submissions. Submissions closed 15 December 2008.
