Could you please send me:
1.
Any reports or briefings received or produced by MfE that discuss the economic (or other) implications of reducing or increasing the rights of water permit holders in NZ. To be clear, I'd like to see copies of any reports or briefings that discuss the implications of reducing allocation volumes or rates; reducing, removing or increasing rights to transfer allocated water; reducing, removing or increasing rights to vary or change the purpose of the use of water.
2.
Any communications with any bank, or with anyone representing the banking sector, that discuss the implications of reducing or increasing the rights of water permit holders in NZ (as detailed above)
3.
Any documents - including reports, briefings, memos or emails - that discuss the implications of implementing a moratorium on water bottling or on the issuing of consents to bottle water. N.B. the request does not include emails to or from members of the general public but does include emails to or from persons representing sector groups, banks or organisations as well as government departments/agencies and Ministers.
The timeframe for this request is October 2017 to present.
