On 11 November 2019, in CAB-19-MIN-0585.01, Cabinet:
“noted that the Minister for the Environment will direct officials to look for appropriate opportunities to collaboratively refine and co-design policy options with Māori during the next phase of the review in line with Cabinet’s agreed Guidelines for Engaging with Māori;”
Under OIA, I request (related to the above cabinet minute):
- any briefings, advice, aide memoires, talking points, cabinet paper documents that include reference to opportunities to collaboratively refine and co-design policy options with Māori during the next phase of the review in line with Cabinet’s agreed Guidelines for Engaging with Māori, provided by the Ministry, to either
- Minister for the Environment, or
- Associate Minister for the Environment Nanaia Mahuta
