Details of the request

Tēnā koe,

We have been reviewing documents relating to the Government's second emissions reduction plan (ERP2). Based on the documents, it appears you may be best placed to help with a few areas we are seeking some clarification on.

If so, can we please be provided with:
- All information (including briefings and advice) provided to the Minister for Climate Change on the emissions reduction plan (ERP1) and discontinuing any policies from ERP1; and
- The model that is used in the projections for ERP2, as well as the specific assumptions used in relation to the central estimate and high and low sensitivity analyses for the baseline and the 'with new measures' scenario; and

- An explanation of how the ETS price path in the 'with new measures' scenario was derived; and

- All information (including briefings and advice) provided to the Minister for Climate Change on the Climate Change Commission's Monitoring Report.
