With respect, can MfE please provide estimates/briefings/work related to NZ’s Paris Agreement targets sent to the Minister in the last 12 months. This information should include, but not be limited to, any assessment/advice/estimated cost of using international carbon markets for abatement.
Over the same 12 month period, please provide reports (to MfE management and/or the Minister) produced by MfE’s international carbon markets project regarding the potential cost of carbon units for climate change abatement, including for use in meeting domestic targets.
