Second national climate change risk assessment for New Zealand

The Climate Change Commission has released the second national assessment of the risks New Zealand faces from climate change.

This independent risk assessment identifies 37 risks covering all aspects of life from our ecosystems and communities to buildings and the financial system.

In response to the assessment, the Government is required to produce a National Adaptation Plan, which must be published within two years.
